Pimping

First of all, fyrie is amazing. I haven't written "Will to Act" yet, and she already drew an illustration for me. And then used it to make the icon I'm using now :D

Second, I'm feeling guilty about non-feedbacking, but with my current workload, I usually finish reading fics either three minutes before dashing to work, or three seconds before falling asleep. Neither is conducive to coherent reviews.

So to assuage my conscience at least towards the most frequent victim of the above, everyone who likes demons, Hellblazer, Constantine (movie), Sin City or just plain good writing, should go read guede_mazaka's latest fics. Oh, and she's got a relationship-therapy series that's amazing, and you know, other stuff. Just go read, something's bound to catch your fancy :)

EDIT: Third - go read Sirius and Remus do the Jane Eyrie bit. AU, gothic, subtle, very, very lovely. Meow. (Also, Sirius takes to the Heathcliff thing like a natural.)

Polish pride

You know how Western medical authorities place the lethal dose of alcohol at 0.4%? That really needs an annotation of "does not apply to Poles and Russians".

We have a new drunk-driving record in Warsaw. 0.95% blood alcohol level. The guy was A) driving, B) slept it off without medical problems. Oh, and C) managed not to crash into anything.
