You know how Western medical authorities place the lethal dose of alcohol at 0.4%? That really needs an annotation of "does not apply to Poles and Russians".

We have a new drunk-driving record in Warsaw. 0.95% blood alcohol level. The guy was A) driving, B) slept it off without medical problems. Oh, and C) managed not to crash into anything.

The best thing is, it's still not the national drunk-driving record - that was 1.13%, but that guy crashed the car and died from the injuries (but not alcohol poisoning).

Sure, just name the time&day - though I have a lead on a promising seamstress, so if formalwear works out maybe I'll ask her for some gosu stuff too, but that'll be MUCH later ;)

Come to think of it, any chance of me borrowing your digicam for a few days? I'm going to Vienna from Thursday until Saturday evening, and I can't take mine, because Mom's leaving for San Francisco Saturday morning. If not, just tell me - I'll borrow Mada's.

Monday around 6PM somewhere in the city center would be perfect, actually. Best make it somewhere close to your place, because I get out of work at unpredictable times, and sometimes I learn at 5.30 that I need to stay on until 7-8, so I'd rather have a day or two available to reschedule if necessary :/

I'd say he was self-embalmed! It's amazing how lucky he was (and the only reason he escacped without harm is he must be an extraordinarily heavy drinker most of the time, so his liver was already revved up and ready to go).

lol when i was in poland last year my cousins told me there is a saying that goes like that, they told me this as they were knocking back thier vodka.
