Drabble requests

I'm stuck, stuck, stuck on the Van Helsing things.

Time for a kick start.

Give me a fandom and either a character, a pairing, an item, a title, or all of the above. Get a 100-word drabble in return.

No Van Helsing for obvious reasons, and also no CLAMP. Otherwise anything I'm vaguely familiar with is fair go. This includes Coldfire, Underworld, V for Vendetta (comic) and anything up to and including Night Watch (Russian version).

First 10 will get written today.

SHOW DOGS AND CALIFORNIA GIRLS

The little Pekingese was walking aimlessly around a pillar in the hotel lobby. The same pillar Lorenzo had chosen to hide behind as he waited for the latest narco-boss on El’s hit list to make it into the hotel. He squatted down to rub the animal’s forehead, then wrapped his fingers gently around the embroidered collar, trying to steer it away.

The dog made a strange mechanical sound.

Lorenzo’s dark eyes widened as his fingers slipped through the dog’s fur and into a hidden compartment filled with – hand grenades?

He heard the click of a white cane on tile and scowled at the approaching gringo. Sands just smiled and squatted next to him, the two of them nothing but a pair of young men petting a small lapdog.

The American nodded at a slender figure at the reception desk. Blond hair, pink dress, fortyish, attractive.

“I think my mom’s in town.”

*giggle* knowing Lorenzo, he would definitely be receptive if only to piss Sands off :D

Poor El. Most mother-in-laws don't have those...

(Oh yes, do remeber... She was scary :D)

I am astill trying to figure out how to kill someone with nail clippers, too :P

I can think of at least three ways of killing a restrained person with nail clippers, barring the usual "causing enough pain for them to die of shock" thing. None of them is particularly quick..

Restrained, i can see, but actually someone who is not.... the only thing I can think of is sticking them into the side of the nect at an angle so that they won't fold, withg enough strength to pierce the artery... which becomes a LOT easier if they are the sort of clippers that have a nail file int he middle...

... yesterday it was bread knives, today nail clippers. Wonder what I will be killing people with tomorrow?
