Plus, this time around I noticed that during that final fight? He just defends himself. He could have swatted Gabriel like a fly when the moon hid, but nooo. Every chance he gets, he tries to talk Gabriel into partnership bed with him ^____^

And the giving-back of memories, which is another plotbunny. What if Gabriel's state is the result of a curse Dracula cast? Or it's something angelic-related that he knows via Lucifer?

I'm tempted to write an AU where Anna kills the bride just a wee bit quicker (or maybe Carl kills her - I think he was the one who got handed the stake?), gets to the experiment room, and then Vlad grabs her as hostage until midnight's tolled. Which is when the fun begins...

Tangent: the amount of time it takes for the bell to toll twelve times is proof of continuity errors being for the weak.

I gave into temptation a while ago: I'm writing an AU where Drac's attention span was just a wee bit longer when he and Gabriel faced off in Castle Frankenstein that first time, and the brides aren't happy about the results.
