Photos and trips and Absence Without Leave

First: Photos from my trip to Cobh and Fota Wildlife Park are up. I still need to bother D into mailing me the one he got of me hand-feeding a lemur :D

Second: Saturday-Tuesday I'll be in Belfast and Dublin. Back on Tuesday evening, and I might get to check my mail on Monday at ladylalaith's, but other than that, netless. Expect more photos when I get back ;)

They were absolutely wonderful. And wandering totally free - you could have petted them if you wanted to. And the babies!

I'd offer, but I'm leaving in 12 hours and have to do my nails and sleep in the meantime ;)

I was taking pictures of the pelicans, and then someone went, WTF's THAT? I said capybara, and then the babies came out... instant squee. I melted, and I have about a dozen pictures of them - alas they were a fair distance away, so I had to do them on maximum zoom and some came out blurry :S

Socute. I love capybaras. Bill Peet, who did some wonderful children's books, had a capybara for a pet and he wrote this lovely book on it called 'Cappyboppy.' It was one of my favorites back when I was knee-high.
