J-11, photos part 1

The Koya-san cold managed to put us both under the weather - I'm the one who's actually upright, so I'm taking the opportunity to sort through photos. I can't believe there are less than three days left before I'm back home.

The reconstructed audience hall in Nara. Rebuilt exactly to the scale it was in AD 710. Yes, those tiny dots by the railing would be people. (In Poland at that time, we had... huts?)

Yay the Hibiya kitties! We visited them in April (though the black one was less interested in us then the ginger kitty).

It's just too bad that the two of you are sick :( But at least it first happened towards the end of your vacation? Still, I hope you two will be able to enjoy your last few days and that the flight back won't be too bad!

We're not letting it stop us from sightseeing :) Or shopping. I have now acquired a Heavy Metal Hello Kitty (based on Yoshiki from X-Japan!) and way too many bowls.
