Lessons learned yesterday:

• despite everything, everyone likes to look at Gackt
  
  
• Japanese rockers are WEIRD in ways that defy description
  
  
• Mana does talk @_@
  
  
• look up exotic foods before eating them; if I'd known how much citric acid umeboshi contain, it'd have saved me quite a bit of torture :S

I also now have everything I need for the trip - if not exactly bought, then hunted down and I know where to get them, including a jacket that actually fits my shoulders. I saw the most gorgeous EGL umbrellas at the H&M in Galeria Centrum, as well as a reasonably priced corset (89 PLN) - astarise, mayoini, you might want to check them out.
