This was surprisingly difficult - I really don't watch much TV. I don't have time in my life for more than one, maybe two series at a time, and I do 90% of my watching online.
Name a TV show series in which you have seen every episode at least twice:
This distinction falls, I think, only to Babylon 5. There are some shows I've rewatched, but never in full. Anime runners-up are Rurouni Kenshin (online) and Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon S (on TV).
Name a (current) show you can't miss:
I don't watch much TV, so currently that'd have to be Merlin and The Mentalist, both online.
Name an actor that would make you more inclined to watch a show:
Sophia Myles! I loved her in Moonlight.
Name an actor who would make you less likely to watch a show:
It's hard to think of someone who'd be an absolute dealbreaker. Tom Cruise, maybe?
Name a show you can, and do, quote from:
Babylon 5, all the time. I've even been known to sing the Fish song. To a lesser extent, Star Trek: The Next Generation.
Name a show you like that no one else enjoys:
I guess Moonlight did get cancelled very quickly - I adored it to pieces.
Name a TV show which you've been known to sing the theme song:
*eyedart* Moonlight Densetsu is damn catchy. And Slayers, of course - Get Along, the first series opening, in
Name a show you would recommend everyone to watch:
Babylon 5, for the plotting. First Star Trek, to know where we (as fandom, as a media culture) are coming from.
Name a TV series you own:
Babylon 5 is the only one I own in full, since this autumn.
What is your favourite episode of your favourite series?
I'm with <lj user=selenak> in that I don't have a single favourite series, or an episode of each. The first Bester one of Babylon 5 is high up there, though.
A show you mean to watch, but you just haven't gotten around to yet:
Being Human. I have some of it on DVR, but missing Episode 3.
Ever quit watching a show because it was so bad?
Heroes, mid-season 2. I don't regret a thing.
Name a show you aren't interested in watching, not in the least:
95% of what's on TV right now? Out of the ones you'd expect me to like, True Blood. The books are a guilty pleasure, but the series is so much a by-the-numbers HBO shocker, like Rome and The Tudors, but without the redeeming qualities of the former. The elaborate sex and violence just isn't my style. I quit watching by episode 3.
Name a show that's made you cry multiple times:
Rurouni Kenshin, the prequel OVA.
Oldest TV show you like?
Star Trek, I expect.
Newest TV show you like?
The Mentalist.
fyrie turned me onto it a few weeks ago.
What do you eat when you watch TV?
I don't (mostly because I watch it on the computer). When I'm watching films or musicals on DVD, I tend to drink tea and have a salad.
How often do you watch TV?
I catch up with a show about once a week, plus about once every week or two I have time and opportunity to watch a musical on DVD. Movies, much more rarely.
Do you have a favorite talk show?
I don't watch them.
What's the last TV show you watched?
The Mentalist. I am scaring myself by starting to ship Jane/Lisbon.
What's your favourite/preferred genre of TV?
SFF and crime.
What's your least favourite genre of TV?
Reality tv and soap operas.
What was the first TV show you were obsessed with?
The New Adventures of Zorro, the 1981 cartoon series. I think I was about 4 years old.
What TV show do you wish you never watched?
Heroes after the first few episodes of Season 2. I liked the M-s, a lot.
What's the weirdest show you enjoyed?
Depends on your criterion of weird. Yattaman is pretty high up there.
What TV show scared you the most?
I don't generally get scared by TV.
What is the funniest TV show you have ever watched?
Blackadder!
Which do you think is the best TV series ever made?
All in all, Babylon 5. Because for once it's complete, from start to finish, each arc rounded out, each emotional journey ended. Plus there's Andreas Katsulas and Claudia Christian and Walter Koenig, each in turn potraying one of my absolute favourites of all times.
