Sometimes, I just love musicals

Git in my icon = still a git. Still making me cry with Gethsemane. Still the Best Herbert And Phantom Ever.

dunkle_feuer, slashydutchie - he had Phantom photos from the Benefiz-Gala in his slideshow while he sang Phantom :D Of course, that came after the slideshow of baby photos during I am what I am, so I may have been slightly horizontal.

And there may be mp3 spam at some point, because his Bring Him Home defies gravity, and his The Song That Goes Like This keeps getting better and better.

It's now been a round four years (and three days) since the first time I was at a concert of his, barely knowing the name of this scraggly eighteen-year-old boy who got a part that should be a bit part and stole the show. Within the next four years, I fully expect to be in a West End theatre listening to him do at least Raoul, and quite probably understudy Phantom.

I agree about the best Herbert, but while he makes for a brilliant Phantom, my favorite is still somebody else (which probably won't surprise you all that much *g*)

I would have loved to see the slideshow, benefit gala, baby photos and everything! It must have been quite the sight.

Were you at a concert with him or where did you get to see him? <-- just ignore that bit. Obviously my brain getting fried for the last few weeks is also somehow affecting my eyes, because I didn't even see your previous post. Duh. I really, really need my vacation, I think. But I'm certainly glad that he can still make you that happy and I hope that he will continue for many more years to come!

There was a girl filming the whole show, so I think there will be youtube clips galore :) Including his thundering, heartbreaking Phantom with a proper Christine this time.

It was a small concert at the local cultural centre where he did his first concerts and mini-Phantom production :) About a hundred people in attendance, with only seventy seats.
