Brownie recipe - for safekeeping

beauchat, but I'm copying it for safekeeping, with my own alterations.
Ingredients:
180 g dark chocolate
180 g butter
1 cup brown sugar
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
dash salt
1 cup additions (walnuts etc)
Preparation:
Melt chocolate and butter together in a baine marie. Into the melted mixture, stir sugar. Blend in eggs and vanilla, then stir in the flour, baking powder, salt, and nuts, if using. Spread batter into a greased and floured baking pan. Bake at 175C for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool and cut into bars.

Date: 2009-10-06 03:11 pm (UTC)Adding alcohol to brownies is love, provided you put in something to complement the chocolate. It adds a little "je ne sais quoi" and prompts questions about secret ingredients. ^_~
(Of course, you have to be careful if you are going to feed it to children...)
