I'm starting to wonder if the recent blah-feeling isn't the infection still echoing :/ It had to be something particularly nasty, especially since yesterday, over two weeks after the initial doctor's visit and almost three weeks since I first started feeling the symptoms, I got the vertigo and shortness of breath again. I do so hate being sick.

So, I've been apathetic. When I try to read, especially online, the words tend to just run together. Even Fandom_Wank isn't entertaining me as much as it should. Creativeness also seems to be on hold, apart from one active muse *glares at a certain genderless anthropomorphic personification, who apart from a boyfriend has now acquired a quasi-parental figure and a kid brother*

Nanowrimo probably will not happen this year, but I'm going to do yuletide. They're assembling their list of rare fandoms from scratch this year, and I'm thinking of which ones to request to add to the list - each person can suggest six. Elisabeth is a given, and probably Tanz der Vampire. Book-Dracula is another thing I'd be happy to write. Coldfire, yes, but that'll probably get requested by enough other people. Once Upon A Time in Mexico might not make the cut - 437 stories at FF.net. No idea what else to nominate.

And hey. yuletide will be opening to all comers this year. How about it, people? I can't be the only crazy one :)

I'm wondering whether to nominate RPF - Fifteenth-century southeast Europe ;) Just because while Vlad gets regular entertainment, I have also acquired a Mircea, Radu, Vlad the Monk, Vlad II, John Hunyadi, Matthias Corvinus, Barbara of Cilli and several other people.

Complete and total :) Honestly, my Draculas fall in love at the drop of a hat - Mircea apparently has a long standing (and platonic, he insists) thing with Vladislaus Varnensis of Poland, Radu manages to get himself completely seduced by Mehmed in five seconds flat, and Vlad... well, you know how he is with Death :D

Methinks I will be avoiding Yuletide on account of not having enough small fandoms. I mean, yes, Coldfir and tanz and Elisabeth, but that's all I could think of, offhand. Unless I stooped to the levels of some lesser known musicals, which have spanwed ba and evil fic...

Um. Maybe. If I can find enough fandoms. The only fandoms I am comfortable writing in tend to be obscure ones, but I don't have many to begin with... But I might consider. Because challenges are good to get you writing. :-)

Hey, there's no lower limit to the fandom suggestions (nor are they obligatory), and IIRC at actual signups you can offer to write for as few as three fandoms :) Plus, I've had a handful of pieces of feedback for my Elisabeth story in the archive, so there are people who might just request it. (On the other hand, requests are assigned on a rarity basis, so if you request Elisabeth, you might just get a story from me...)

Well, if at least three fandoms I'm sufficiently familiar with on the list, then I'll probably have to consider it. Because the rare Elisabeth and Tanz fans that are there will need to be pampered. Even if we end up writing stories for each other. :D
