I do love mushroom-gathering, and due to weather conditions I didn't get to do it much this year at the lakeside. I jumped at an invitation to do so in the forests near Warsaw, and while our haul wasn't too impressive - we got there a little too late in the day - I got a lot of photos of the inedible mushrooms people left behind :)

This would be Boris, my friend's Siberian Husky. He's a cuddly sweetie.

My favourite kind of poisonous mushroom, simply on the grounds of its prettiness.

This one isn't poisonous, just doesn't taste very nice.

There's a way to make those edible, but it's a lot of work. Best to leave them to look nice in the wild :)

Up close, some mushrooms look strange indeed.

...and some are even stranger.

This is a baby version of the most poisonous mushroom in Poland - 1 is enough to kill half a dozen people IIRC. But it's still cute :)

This one is very poisonous too. No idea why it's hiding under moss like that.

No, not lap dogs. Though there's this husky breeding centre in the Carpathians, since they started sleigh races here a couple years ago. Still, I wouldn't want to torment a poor husky to my life. Hells, I can't even own a cat... though I swore I'd get one if I ever manage to get my own apartment.

(It's shedding time for dogs, at least in Romania, so that explains it. My aunt's dogs are leaving hair everywhere as well.)
