If you have any artistic appreciation for the male body whatsoever, go check out Dieux du Stade. The subjects are members of the French rugby team. I've been staring wide-eyed for several minutes now. I didn't think the lines of a man's back could be so mesmerising.

(Also, big thanks to the shoe fairy. The shoemaker found the boots I left there in April 2005, my favourite pair ever, which has seen me throughout college :D)

Nope, Nazi issues :

les Dieux du Stade is the French name for that Nazi propaganda movie made at the Munich Olympic Game by Leni Riefenstahl

It always made me wonder: could the people who did these pictures not be aware of the conotations of this title? And if they were what the fuck were they thinking of?

But yeah, quite lickilicious photos :)

I see - it's Triumph of Will over here. I think it's supposed to be a reclaiming the title for what it should mean - that men who play some sports end up with very, very pretty bodies...
