Fireworks

Last night there was a big midsummer festival at the riverside. Lou Bega I don't care about much, but the fireworks were done by the guys who did the Torino Olympics pyrotechnics, and they were appropriately spectacular.














And no, this isn't computer-generated - all with pyrotechnics :D

I was too busy gaping to take pictures, but that sequence went on for over a minute - the entire sky painted gold and sparkling like a really sparkly thing. From Herbert's squeeing in my head I gather that he wants to drag dad out to an open-air festival of some kind with candyfloss and fireworks :>

Oh, VK begs to differ. Mostly because trying to keep track of Herbert on sugar with lots of half-naked young men running around...
