Eeep! Happy birthday, applegnat! Many happy returns, and please don't mind my idiocy, because that's twice now that I've meant to do birthday posts for the whole day only to go to sleep without posting them.
I like the gloves too. I think the difference between the costumes is meant to symbolise the fact that Herbert is an excitable, dandy young man, whereas Krolock is supposed to be the older 'father figure' - therefore he's more soberly dressed. But I agree, they could have made 'sober' look a bit more attractive. He seems to carry it off well, though :-) CCA
