Recipe plea for help

I'm a bloody researcher. I know Google like the back of my hand. I can make it juggle and whistle and take over the global economy at once.

I cannot, however, find a normal, no-frills recipe for soft-baked chocolate chip cookies.

I know there are many American people on the f-list. Can someone please help a poor soul devoid of that USian staple? I don't want mint, nuts, or truffles in it. I want to bake plain c-chip cookies. Judging by books and fanfic, that should be about the easiest and quickest thing to bake.

But I really, really need a recipe :S

Well, if you're going to ask Americans for recipes. ;P

The one right above is pretty good, I've used that. The trick is not to over-cook them. Start checking them after eight minutes and take them out while they still look underdone.

Eek. With my bloody-minded oven, that'll probably be something like 3 minutes. Or 30, depending on the mood. I need to take a sledgehammer to that piece of junk...
