Happy Independence Day!
Nov. 11th, 2005 07:05 pmToo bad I'm not active on the NaNo forums this time, because I just made a sig-ready avatar/doll of Kirill. It's not perfect - no frilly shirts, alas...

In other news, the parade was something of a dud - almost an hour late, barely ten minutes long, no marching skills to speak of, and a motorcycle broke down. But hey, pretty horsies ♥

Date: 2005-11-11 03:41 pm (UTC)Oh! I'm still browsing for a digital camera, but I can DEFINITELY see that advantage. Though I'm still a little clingy to film. Can't help it, I suppose XD

Date: 2005-11-11 03:55 pm (UTC)I heartily recommend the KonicaMinolta Z series. Great optics, very smart cam-soft, and the zoom is unbelievable. Focus gets a little getting used to, but not too much, and the colours are lovely. Not to mention the fact that the flash is pop-up and far enough from the lens so as not to make your photos terribly flat. I've done night photos (recent cemetary series), sports, portraits, architecture, nature. Best low-end SLR I've seen, period :)
