I think I might be saved by the dual (or triple) plotlines here :) The OCs will rarely share screen time. I suppose I could have taken a "canon" EU dark Force-user (especially for Ador, she's a pain to characterize), but the problem is, I don't read EU.
I'm wondering whether to maybe write the first few sections, post them and see if people hate it as much as you seem to hate the very idea :S
