If Bail was taking the obfuscation seriously, I don't think he'd have told Leia much about Padme apart from the bare facts, in order to protect her from someone finding out about her parentage. Then again, I don't see him dwelling on those final days, except in private - to Leia, he'd probably talk of the future and the plans of the Rebellion. Then again, that's just my interpretation.
