He was a tiny bit off during the first act and Totale (though not by much), and it looked like he drank something during the extra intermission they had to put in on account of the Bücher set having stage fright ;) Unstillbare was absolutely wild, and he... kind of didn't notice that the graveyard was going vertical enough to threaten his balance along with making his cloak and hair flare out in impressive ways. The running down was more like falling.
He didn't lose track of a single note, but I had opera glasses, and I could see his knuckles going white as he braced himself against the top ledge. His cloak ended up in the pit almost entirely, and one leg was definitely in the air :> The "Jeder glaubt, dass alles einmal besser wird" sequence was uncharacteristically subdued as he caught his breath and withstood glares from the orchestra...
