Vienna, part 6
Mar. 9th, 2007 01:09 pmThe less said about the past week, the better. An infection retreated just in time for work to hit me like a ton of bricks. Fortunately, the next two weeks will be a lot of work - but at my own pace, and on my own, too.
Meanwhile, here are a lot of pictures of very, very pretty butterflies from the Vienna Schmetterlinghaus.

Date: 2007-03-09 10:56 pm (UTC)If you don't have nice treats for them, and a lot of patience, the best way to get them on film is to look for the nectar-rich flowers that offer some "camoflage" from predators, or for larger open spaces in direct sunlight where they like to rest and sunbathe. Approach them carefully, without getting too close or casting a shadow by them.
Or alternatively, use a really big lens. ;)
Thanks for the pics..........
