Is it art, or just dilletantism?

Still not doing anything much, but on my way back yesterday I bought pencils. Here's a random vampire (the one in my icon), who incidentally is my first attempt at a serious pencil sketch in 5 years. And before that, my attempts were rather horrid. I think this one came out a bit better.
