I believe I squeed about it at length here and in other posts tagged with the coldfire tag. Three books of not-quite-fantasy, not-quite-sf, with the best pair of enemies/bestfriends/(prospective lovers) ever. It's eaten me whole, on a level comparable only with Tanz.
