It specialised in diet tips, anti-imigrant diatribes and scare articles on how working for a living will render you a suicidal infertile single by the time your 32. There was once a famous opinion piece stating that women were so wonderful and designed to have babies in the most adverse of conditions, government sending on maternity wards was a waste of taxpayers pounds.
You have to be really thick to fall for it - but apparently a lot of women do. The holy, shining grail of motherhood as the only worthwhile path to be trodden is a major tennet of rightwing brainwashing PR.
Incidentally, her love for her children did not prevent her from saddling them with the names Merlin and Griffin.
