Blasphemy redux: one year later

I wanted to post appropriate icons for today, but yesterday's madness left a mark, so I'll be over there ----> curled up with Tonio and a Georgette Heyer book I haven't read before. In their stead, in celebration of a certain anniversary, a video I hear is having trouble getting playtime on air...

Oomph! - Gott ist ein Popstar

And, you know, props to Charlie and all, hope he's got a good seat upstairs, and good luck with the beatification thing. Lots of people wearing mourning and little white ribbons on the streets today.

I need a good Charlie W. icon. Possibly with Bono's sunglasses.

Which Georgette Heyer is that? I reread almost all of her books that I have about a year ago.

Personal favorites:

Devil's Cub
Frederica
The Grand Sophy
The Quiet Gentleman
Sprig Muslin
Sylvester
The Unknown Ajax

The Reluctant Widow is a fun one!
Whatta guy, indeed! I loved the way his nephew treated his new stepfather.
That's a shame about the translation.
Have you tried e-bay? There's where I picked up some of my hardcover copies. (I find that many of my paperbacks that have been read a lot or are over 25 years old have a nasty tendency to fall apart...)
