Kitten update. With photos.

Five weeks ago, I brought a small furball home.

Now the furball is bigger. Very much so.

But he's still cute as a button <3

Especially when he's trying to catch up on sleep.

This is Tonio saying "Oi, I'm still here too, you know."

Size comparison: Tonio, age 2 and 4 months, Lestat, age 4 months. Also, this is not a "we wuv each other" pose. This is "get that camera out of our faces so we can continue beating the hell out of each other plzkthx."

Lestat sometimes tries to become the photographer himself. Here he's trying to take the camera from me by tugging on the strap.

Obligatory scary vampire kitty photo :D

Kitten cuteness!!

Tonio is a gorgeous cat himself. Very sleek and lovely.

Lestat looks to be a brown tabby with spots - we've got a couple breeds in the US where they try to breed cats with consistent leopard spots. One is called the Bengal cat, and another is the Mau. My own Greymalkin is a blue tabby with spots.

He may turn out like Greymalkin and have a mix of stripes on his legs that break up into spots over his body. Very lovely and since we both adopted abandoned kittens, *much* cheaper than buying a purebred - over here nicely spotted Bengals or Maus go for $3-400. :-0

I think their stripes don't fully develop till they are two years old or so.

Also, some of the spotted cats tend to be big. You wanted a leopard, right? :D
