The church I was christened in partly burned down today. (Link: photo gallery of the blaze in progress.)

I hear they rescued the collection of old clocks. I haven't heard about the carillion.

A strange day, today.

It's a pity, from the looks of it was a really beautiful building :(

They'll definitely rebuild - not that much structural damage, and a century ago it got into a much worse fire before being rebuilt. Thankfully no-one was hurt.
