More vampires

I threw it up for [livejournal.com profile] fyrie last night, so might as well share it here: Warsaw!Vampires promotional clip.

It's mostly Polish voiceovers and actors and director blathering, but there's a fair bit of Totale Finsternis at the end, and in the middle there's Dziedzic blathering on (and basically being all clueless and "I have NO idea what you're asking me. Let me quote lyrics at you, since I'm totally obsessed ATM" - I can relate) while the images show him singing Unstillbare Gier and crawling over graves. Mmmm. 53 days until I see him again. Argh.

Oh, and an update for anyone interested in seeing that despite how airheaded it makes me: according to Michael Kunze ♥ in the 2006/2007 season Tanz will be still playing in Warsaw, in the autumn it will premiere in Budapest, and there'll be another German production, possibly in Berlin.

I've been playing my various Tanz bits for two hours straight now. There's a very wide smile on my face. There may be vampire fic later. Right now, need to go off and scribble "Grafin von Krolock" all over my story notebook.

I'm not sure what your werewolves are like, but as long as they have proper table manners and respect books, I'm sure Krolock would be fine with them ;)

They certainly do have proper table manners:-) And as for books, I suspect the Graf would enjoy a visit to the library at Falborough Hall (home of the vampiric Alfonz family), although he might slightly disapprove of the lack of order there *g*.

I really don't think they'd enjoy the local inn, though...

The Graf looked around with undisguised amusement at the crowds packing the Ploughmans Arms. "You mean people actually come here for fun?"
John nodded, having debated this fact with himself a few times. "Pretty much, yes. Sometimes they have so much fun they have to be brought home on a cart. That smell is beer, by the way..."
"I wondered..."
"And food," John continued. "Mostly week-old sandwiches and pies you really, seriously wouldn't want to know about. And I'm told that sawdust on the floor gets changed at least once a week. Twice, if any of the local shepherds have seen fit to bring their work in with them..."
Herbert flinched. "Those girls are looking at me..."
John turned to see several of the girls from 'ladies-of-the-night' corner watching the handsome young blond vampire with interest. "Oh, er...yes. I wouldn't worry about them, old chap, just brush them off if they bother you..." He turned to Krolock senior. "So anyway, this is the 'local entertainment' you were told about. How quickly would you like to leave?"
"How about yesterday?" The Graf raised his eyebrows. "I understand you have a somewhat extensive library at home...?"
"There's a library?" Herbert, too, sounded interested at the mention of books. "Is it any good?"
"My brother Daniel tells me it's excellent." John held the inn door open for both his guests to make a relieved exit. "More his realm than mine, really. I'll get him to show you around..."
"Daniel..." Von Krolock nodded. "That would be the half-human?" He still had to admit to some confusion as to how a half-human, half-vampire could have come to be.
"That's right." John led the way to the carriage. "Oh and...if you gentlemen could see your way to not biting him at all, I'd be very grateful..."
Herbert sounded disappointed. "Not even a little bit?"
