*snickers* I specialise in difficult letters today ;)
It's no fault of the musical, but rather my own interest in the historical Crown Prince Rudolf and all concerned - I have the same problem with Wildhorn's Rudolf musical and some otherwise 100% valid interpretations of Rudolf in Elisabeth. Rudolf had Issues with a capital-I and didn't have that many scruples. I can't really believe in a romantic take on Rudolf and Mary when he took advantage of her as his third choice to die with him (after his mistress and his wife) while she obsessed over him in 100% groupie style. Due to this, I've never got through the musical in its entirety, I just watch the ending to judge the Rudolf and Mary ;)
