When I finished the trilogy a few years ago I was in a state of denial. I thought "wait?! That's it?! I want more. Surely Damien can't let Tarrant walk out of his life like that? Surely Tarrant wanted more too?!" I wailed. Then I recently re-read the trilogy and wailed all over again. I wanted so much more!

There just isn't enough Coldfire fanfic out there and I'm so happy to have read this (recc'd by aubrem here (http://community.livejournal.com/hunters_forest/50789.html#cutid1))! You've given me a nice "closure" and now I can go on imagining the two of them hooking up with Ciani (in a purely professional manner of course) and working with the rakh and indulging in frequent, passionate smexing. ^_^
